Online Dating For The Disabled
I have always wondered what dating for the disabled was like. If someone is deaf, I imagine it is very difficult for them to hit on people in clubs.
They can put on hearing aid, but I would assume that it would make loud music too uncomfortable (or maybe not?). If a person comes to a club in a wheelchair, it becomes someone whom everyone avoids, because they are “in the way and just unnecessarily occupying big space on the dance-floor”.
And if they are blind, they would just stand at the bar, which is so unproductive, because no one comes on to anyone anymore.
My guess would be that it is much easier to meet other people online if you are disabled. You can meet someone, have a chat, and decide to go out to some more laid back place, which kind of makes dating for the disabled to some extent more romantic if you think about it.
Clubs are so nasty, and most of the people hit on you there just because they are drunk. I am not saying that the disabled are lucky, but just that they are not really missing out much in the clubs.
